Geekvape maintained the general performance, look and feel of the ruggedly designed pod system, however the Geekvape Aegis Boost Plus is slightly larger in width, adjustments to the control panel, upgraded pods and now powered by an external single 18650 battery (not supplied).
Construction & Features
The Boost PLUS retains the zinc alloy, leather and SLI silicone finish, so whilst slightly larger than it's predecessor it is still compact, lightweight and stylish. Carrying the same IP67 rated waterproof, shockproof and dustproof protections, the Geekvape Boost Plus Pod Kit will be protected from accidental drops, water immersion and dust ingress. Powered by an external 18650 battery (not supplied) for even more hours of use, the Boost Plus delivers a wattage range of between 5 - 40W. The integrated AS chipset, provides responsive wattage control, fast ramp up time and a host of safety protections including short circuit protection and over-charge protection. The control panel has been tweaked to become even more user friendly, with the addition of simple '+/-' adjustment buttons below a larger display screen. The external battery is inserted via the screw cap battery compartment at the base of the device.
Interchangeable Coils
The Aegis boost Plus utilises 2ml refillable pods, and following feedback from the previous model Geekvape have redesigned the pods to reduce leakage potential with a leak resistant airflow valve. The pods again feature adjustable airflow at the front of the pod via a dial type control. Compatible with G.Coil Boost formula coils, the Boost Plus is supplied with two options; a 0.4ohm KA1 mesh and a 0.6ohm KA1 mesh. The coils are easily installed via the push-pull method.
